With the hope that you have had a safe, relaxing summer, I write to update you on º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù’s plans for the beginning of the 2021–22 academic year.

In light of the University’s review, please note the following changes to our campus COVID-19 prevention measures.

This week, for the first time, º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù will observe the annual holiday of Juneteenth; because the holiday falls on a Saturday this year, our observance will take place Friday, June 18.

Krista Ingram, Professor of Biology, will serve a three-year term as Associate Dean of the Faculty for Faculty Recruitment and Development.

I write today with updates on Commencement 2021, taking place this weekend, and a look ahead to the fall.

University Physician Dr. Merrill Miller writes to inform about the upcoming vaccine requirement for all students on campus.

I join with the presidents of Hamilton College, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, St. Lawrence University, Skidmore College, and Union College in a statement regarding today’s verdict.

Today I am the person charged to speak to harms that can go unrecognized, to identify threats to the wellbeing of our community that require understanding and care.

The Task Force on Reopening º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù and the Health Analytics Team have recommended a return to modified Gate 1 restrictions. We will reevaluate our Gate status on Monday, April 19.
